ARABO

Legend about ARABO brandy

In 1956, during the Soviet Union, 2 boys named Ara and Bondo, who dreamed of producing cognac, came to Moscow to enter an agricultural university.

Everyone has this passion in their own way, Bondo is from eastern Georgia (Kakheti), and Ara from south-eastern Armenia (Vayots Dzor region), these valleys are praised for their vineyards, and the boys always had the opportunity to watch the harvest and listen to the stories of the winemakers. Both boys became interested in this art from an early age and Ara also had it in his blood, his grandfather Ara Senior was involved in the production of cognac, and the grandson in the village often went down to the basement and studied his grandfather's records, cognacs and forgotten barrels, since no one in the family continued what Grandfather Ara started, but they were forgotten for a while.
After graduation, the boys each followed a different path, to study the concept of wine and cognac art.

After many years, despite the fact that the paths were far and different, they crossed again, but now they had enough information, experience and knowledge to continue and improve the alcohol of cognac and make a mixture that contains stories and secrets unknown to anyone except Ara Senior., as well as kept 30-year-old or more cognac alcohols, which are considered a collector's edition.

The very name ARABO - Ara in honor of his grandfather and grandson, Bondo - a close friend of Ara the Younger.
Cognac can be considered legendary and rich in its history, this is a discovery in the Armenian-Georgian cognac history, it is a symbol of friendship and traditions, it is like a holy trinity, like a mix of the distant past, present and future. Grandchildren as well as their great-grandchildren will keep the traditions and secrets of the forgotten but reborn as a phoenix ARABO cognac.

The label shows the tree as a symbol of two friends who renewed and improved what they started a long time ago, and roots that symbolize history and make it clear how deep and traditional this idea is.

The color of the label symbolizes mystery and passion, which are one of the main ingredients of this cognac.
On the label of a 4-year-old cognac, the word Bari is written, which means good in Armenian, the Bari inscription was written on the barrel in which the last cognac processed by grandfather was kept, and it remains a mystery why grandfather wrote this very word.

And this word is written exactly on the 4-year-old cognac, because Ara was 4 years old when his grandfather died and left behind the mysterious and legendary Arabo cognac.
